CFPD (Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities)
Join us to learn about CFPD, the largest and longest-standing locally managed pooled trust in Colorado. CFPD now provides a myriad of fiduciary services that offer protection, personalized attention, access to our network of organizations and services, financial guidance and someone on your side. Through a variety of services, they help people of all ages affected by disabilities protect needed healthcare and income benefits, conserve assets and enhance their quality of life, including supplemental needs trusts, conservatorships, trust advisory services, and responsible payee.
MEDICAID WORK REQUIREMENTS
The Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) held a webinar covering federal changes to Medicaid on June 2nd. H.R. 1, formerly known as the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act," created work requirements, also known as community engagement. Some members of Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid Program) will be required to report new information regarding their work, school or volunteer activities to maintain coverage. HCPF is developing new processes for these changes and is tracking the impact of emerging federal guidance.
