CARE GIVER SUPPORT ZOOM MEETINGS
1st and 3rd Thursdays @ 7:00 PM MST
(9 PM ET, 8 PM CT, 6 PM PT)
Advocacy Zoom meetings will be held each Tuesday through May 2025. You will have an opportunity to learn more about being an advocate, discuss advocacy events, and review materials and proposed bills. We will practice "telling your story, connecting to data, and making an ask," whether you plan to testify at the Capitol, talk to legislators, or write op-ed letters to your state legislators. We look forward to seeing you!
This Group Zoom is for moms, family members, and caregivers only.

In February, CO Mad Moms hosted Leora Joseph, Director, Office of Civil and Forensic Mental Health (OCFMH) for a Listen UP! talk. Her presentation and the Q&A covered the role of OCFMH and the services it provides. We also discussed state hospitals, the shortage of beds for those with SMI/SBI, and the changes she hopes to bring through OCFMH. In January, CO Mad Moms welcomed Michael Dougherty, DA of the 20th Judicial District (Boulder County) since 2018. His talk focused on the critical junction of justice and serious mental/brain illnesses.
